That's probably what will happen. If Alex and Ruby are the ones trapped in the fire, Mondo and Victor would be the most likely people to try and save them. It'd be one way for Vic to redeem himself anyway. I could see Mondo and Babs getting together in the aftermath too

Why did he have that clause? It makes no sense for him to be working out of that portacabin when he's managing sites in Glasnevin and elsewhere outside of Carrigstown. It also begs the question why are Maxine and Greg regularly seen in Carrigstown during the workday? Whatever about Con being able to manage work remotely, fore(wo)man Maxine and casual labourer Greg would need to be physically present to do their jobs and it's been established there's no site in Carrigstown. Also why were Greg, Maxine and the other unnamed Rafferty workers drinking in The Station after work? Greg is the only one that lives in Carrigstown so it was very accommodating of the rest of them to go out of their way to his local after work.

The ‘hippy’ doctors room in the hospital is daft, so Carol was obviously finished her treatment and was escorted in there and told to wait for water. The nurse came back with an empty cup and Carol had to go - so unrealistic

VIP treatment for Carol as right - shes the only person getting treatment in that hospital

Ruby would want to be careful, Alex has a reputation for doing a certain activity upstairs in the community centre.

Why is that job offer in London still available to Ruby? Surely a busy London company would move onto the next candidate, not hang around hoping some young wan from Dublin makes up her mind sometime soon.
