Mullahoran & Ramor was devoid of any intensity. It was two teams going through the motions who already have a win and know they need to do very little else to progress.

Ramor don’t look to me like they have moved into second gear yet.

As much as I like our championship system, games like that show up the issues with it.

Could be a blessing in disguise for Ramor though that they haven't hit anywhere near their best as the hype around Virginia is non existent after the last two weeks. Although we haven't seen them play well in Championship football since the first ten minutes in the 22 replayed final.

It’s difficult for the three leading teams to have very much to play for through these initial matches.

Crosserlough have Ballinagh next week. After their loss to the Gaels, unless they get a favourable last day draw, they could be dragged into relegation.

We’d have got more out of a practice match than we have out of the first two games.

There is 12 teams in Senior ,could they of 4 Groups of 3 teams?. 2 from each group going into the Quarters. Might have a bit more bite to it
