    I remembered.

Bad was released on Monday 31 August 1987. Bought the LP and CD (one extra track - Leave Me Alone) that day.

How Friday has turned stressful… I'm not the catalyst but I could have avoided it by trusting my instinct and ignoring a phone call and subsequently a person… who these days dealing with is a stressfest...

Have to laugh at people complaining about Oasis doing it for the money. Like what do people think any band go touring for 😂

TA that it takes ages for phones to go from 99% to fully charged.

It's not like bands are making much money from album sales anymore, thanks to streaming, so touring is the best way to make money for them. People think they deserve to have music for nothing.

This evening's TA: I decided to put on the Paralympics on RTÉ2 earlier, twice within 30 minutes, and the ads were on both times. I guess they're sticking with their constant ad-break policy from the Olympics last month. In fairness, Channel 4 were almost as bad but it seems to happen more often on RTÉ.

TA you arent meant to fully charge:

The golden rule is to keep your battery topped up somewhere between 30% and 90% most of the time. Top it up when it drops below 50%, but unplug it before it hits 100%. For this reason, you might want to reconsider leaving it plugged in overnight. Pushing in the last charge from 80-100% causes a lithium-ion battery to age faster.

not complaining about them doing it for the money, I’m criticising them charging that amount of money :)

Have to laugh at people who cant comprehend the difference ;)

Running out of petrol in the lawn mower just as you are doing the last strip of grass and having to do an 8 mile round trip to get more.

Wake me up when it's all over.

The fact the largest and most nationwide eye specialist company are seemingly terrible at updating their patient records.

Every month I have to return letters either addressed too vaguely (may be the fault of the patient themselves) or to people no longer living at the address. Had someone dead a few years get a letter today- don't think glasses would be much use to them now. Every single 'Gone Away, Return to Sender' message seems to fall on deaf ears too.

    Should've updated their records.

A cash grab you called it. Pretty standard ticket prices judging from the pre-sale.

The monthly throbbing pain in my arm is back tonight. Probably stemming from a shoulder injury I picked up at the end of last year and definitely excaberated by consistently lifting and loading 100+ parcels etc six mornings a week.

Today alone I had three over-sized, very heavy ones (one of them took up a third of the floor space of the van alone), and of course I'm not provided with a mechanical aid, and more often than not the customers wouldn't think about lending a hand on delivery either. Macho-ness only gets you so far.

I will be broke up by the time I reach 50.

Was sitting up this bed this morning around 7am when I heard a scraping noise coming from outside. Looked out the window to see a neighbour, 5 doors down, clearing the weeds from his driveway. I mean could he not have waited a few more hours.😡

Bought a firm Ikea mattress in the store. First night on it and I'm a little sore and stiff. It was grand in the shop.

Did you roll it out and let it get its shape beforehand? Not sure how long your supposed to leave them for.

Your body might just be adjusting to being better supported as you sleep. You could always get a mattress topper if it continues.

I have loads to do and zero motivation.

Ikea have toppers so I'm sure it'll be grand. Would rather not throw more money away but it is what it is.

Fancied a day out but it's a grey day and, like yourself, I've stuff to do and a predictable lack of motivation.

I genuinely think I'm going to have to leave Twitter until the Oasis mass hysteria subsides.

All of the kids I had in my house when they were growing up that I regard as "sons/daughters" are away and I had no idea how much I missed them until yes when youngsters passed having left the local rec centre. I steeled myself for them to be a bit stinky but they were not(happily) so now I feel person sick for the "my boys".

During the week I was thinking of Hoziers performance of "Bridge over Troubled Waters" and the video they made for it during the covid fundraising for that sector, after much debating with myself I watched it and now I'm so freaking homesick as well!

Ta'ed that my sense of smell triggered me and I knowingly made myself home sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😡

I texted a friend before I left my house wondering if he could meet for coffee later.

I had to drive for the next 90 minutes and when I was close to my destination, I got a text. I pulled off the road to read it.

    "Sorry can't make it."

Got back on the road only for a tractor to pull out in front of me and hold up me up for the remaining 10 miles. If I hadn't stopped…..

Hording stuff . . Clearing out my shed and the amount of old shite I've kept for years thinking that I might find a use for in the future is bonkers. Have to just convince myself to put it up for free on Adverts or bring it all to the recycling.

I’ve found my long lost twin !!

My TA is every house in the North that I’ve lived in never have the shaving mirror at the sink . Instead you have to turn around to see what you’re doing

some gang of kids walking down the road, singing, shouting and roaring at each other, despite never being more then about 4 foot away from each other, they’ve set neighbour’s dog #1 off barking and in reply dog #2 has joined in the chorus. This is about 15 minutes ago and it’s been non stop barking .

I know most kids are to an extent loud and rambunctious but fûck me what’s it about a certain generation that they just go around now screaming at each other.

I'm reading a novel where the author is one of those polyglot c*nts who has mastered several languages including English and French. The thing is in English but has the odd passage of French in it since the protagonist speaks French as a first language. I speak a bit of French and Google Translate can make up the difference but it's still irritating.
