Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well the first was really creepy. We were hitching in Texas and two big trucks stopped for us and (from long memory) insisted that we should split up and my gf went ahead with the first truck and I got in the second.

We agreed and a short while into the trip "my" driver said to me that I should not "try anything" bc he had a gun(which he didn't produce)

After a while we reached as far as they were going and both got out together.

The gf told me nothing happened...

In Ireland the first car that stopped for me was this priest who began to ask me if I had a gf and why I didn't .

His interest felt pretty creepy to me .

Strangely the same thing happened again in short order. That was something that put me off hitch hiking (can't remember when I discontinued but I used to go everywhere that way )
