Nah I'm going the other way. 168 is far too big of a jump for Crawford to face an elite fighter. I don't think it's a competitive fight. Canelo would be able to do whatever he likes with him.

Id definitely suggest watching the Madrimov fight first. Crawford looks like a fighter who is maxed out at 154. Not letting his hands go as freely and much more wary of what's coming back. Caught a lot more than usual too. Madrimov isn't a guy who really uses his size either.

Canelo will just need to come forward and apply pressure like he did against Charlo. Crawford won't have the power to keep him off.

Also thought his interview after the fight was pretty telling. Only talking about money when Canelo's name came up. Basically a pension fight for a 36 year old. Secure the big pay day and then sail off. Mikey Garcia v Errol Spence type of situation.

Sure I've no issues with him taking the biggest money fight out there at all. Just isn't a fight that'll get me excited personally. I'd much rather see him in with Boots Ennis.

Really good fight. Non-stop action, but Ortiz just got outworked in a lot of rounds.

Infuriating American commentator on DAZN who believed that Bohachuk was 'on wobbly legs' any time Ortiz landed a hard punch. He wasn't. He wasn't hurt even once in the entire fight. Just because a hard punch lands, doesn't mean the recipient was hurt!

Ortiz put down twice, but wasn't hurt either time. However, they counted.

I had Bohachuk up by 5 points going into round 10. Even giving Ortiz the last three, which were very hard-fought rounds, Bohachuk won.

It definitely looked that way. TJ was doing very well for a few rounds. Hard to believe Conlan beat him handy and hurt him a few years back.

Doheny boxed very well. He had a good gameplan and forced Inoue to really think.

He could definitely have taken a round or possibly two on some of the judges cards. And that in itself is saying a lot considering an amazing statistic Inoue holds - he has scored more 10-8 rounds in his career than all his opponents combined have scored 10-9 rounds against him.

I'm pretty sure the shot that did the damage was the left hook to the side/back at the very end of the 6th. I think it was the last shot of an impressive flurry and Doheny immediately winced and looked at the ref as if to say 'that was a foul'. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some lower lumbar damage, similar to that suffered by Virgil Hill when he was stopped by Roy Jones' famous body shot.

It was an unfortunate ending, but Doheny has nothing to be ashamed of. He performed well.

Doheny had very brief/decent punching moments, but was never remotely in the fight. How this translates to incredibly well is boggling.

I said he’d be lucky if he gets out first rd. He did get out, great. But that doesn’t mean I then have to bullsh1t in saying he did incredibly well.

He was ridiculously timid, and clearly in not to even try to win. It’s boxing for chrissske, and he spent most the time trying not to engage.

There’s nothing at all dismissive. It was far far from a good performance. Cut him slack? If he actually went in and tried to win I would cut him some slack. Only positive I can see is that he didn’t get knocked out too quickly.
