Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

BER Test

    Getting a ber test done in next few weeks for solar grant, currently no BER on house.

    Built 2011/2012

    Since built have pumped walls with beads

    And added Insulation into attic.

    Solar panels

    And fitting 1 x new electric rad to a room.

    Is There anything else that would get rating of the house as high as possible?

    Having all low energy lightbulbs is probably easiest thing to bump things up a bit.

    If you have the signed off drawings or specification to give the BER assessor that would help. BER's were a requirement for all new builds when your house was built so all the documentation required should have been made available at the time. If anything is missing then the assessor will have to use defaults in the assessment which normally means the resulting BER will be worse than if accurate info were used.

    alongside this good advise, if you can get the test certs for the windows and doors plus something to prove these windows and doors were supplied to your house, that will help the BER.
