How soon after paying VRT before it can be taxed online

    Just paid VRT this morning.

    Went to tax it online using "pin" of last 6 digits of VIN but its not recognized.

    Do I need to do first Irish registration in person at county council office?

    If it's anything like VRT paid upon conversion (van to camper) a log book is issued, then this is brought INTO the tax office to have it taxed first time, after which a newer log book (with some classification updated) is issued.
