Company won't email last payslips but want to post them out?

    So I've now finished with this company and I used to get my payslips through some app, which they've now blocked. Have been trying to contact payroll with difficulty to see my last payslip because it's down money based on my bank statement. Yesterday I got a reply email asking for my postal address, which they should already have. I answered, but I'm wondering what's the actual reason the lady in question doesn't want to just email them on as per my suggestion.
