Supernatural WW 2 - Game Thread

Chuck - “We will bring them back to Boardsy, Indiana (It always seems to be Indiana, doesn’t it). This is a town that has seen it all and more again. From having Marvel & DC superhero’s grace the streets to WWE superstars fighting it out to be Kings of the Ring, but nevermind that we are here to tell a story that will bring fear into the heart of the average person, but those joining us here for this story, aren’t average are they? They are the best of the best, the nastiest and most scheming the world and it's entities have ever seen”

Metatron - “ Don’t forget the good guys Chuck!”

Chuck - “I’ll get there my Scribe. But first things first, tell me about the hordes of evil we are going to release on this town”

Metatron - “Well firstly we are going to release the truest form of Evil from his Cage AGAIN! And he will lead this group of downright nastiness. His right-hand man will be the former King of Hell himself who will be able to look into the soul of a single person each and every night. His mother will be right alongside, but will she be good or Evil. A devoted demon will join the gang armed with a vial of Demon Blood. Lastly, The demon that started it all will be back to burst the useless villagers & hunters into balls of flame”

Chuck - “JESUS, that’s a hell chuckles of a lot of evil!”

Metatron - “Oh but that’s not all my Lord. We are also going to release an Alpha that will like to sink his teeth into people, but the players who he makes join his cause will perish alongside him if he is found by the reincarnated one”

Chuck lets out a knowing laugh

Metatron - “So, are you going to bring back your favourites, to take these down for our enjoyment?”

Chuck - “Some of them yes, I will definitely be bringing back the favourite character i have ever written, as someone who has lived in hell, he deserves to be given a very special weapon to take down this troupe that we have put together. He will obviously need some protection, so we will bring back his lovesick brother! Who knows, he might actually avoid falling into a Demons arms this time.”

Metatron - “Surely you're not going to bring back the one who helped me cast the Angels from Heaven in the last books? I couldnt stand to allow him to mess up our plans again!”

Chuck - “Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. He belongs with the boys to allow him to see all before him”

Metatron - “...and the boy?”

Chuck - “The boy has many powers, perhaps we should allow him to take part, seeing as the ferocity of the beasts that we are unleashing before them….”

“...but thats not all, we are bringing back many of the Brother’s friends and family members from times past, to help them on their quest.. The quest to provide entertainment to us! HA! 

Seriously though one should be careful for what one wishes for, it may have unintended consequences. Either way, everyone will have a role to play in our latest instalment of……”

Game Rules:

1) In most circumstances, once you are eliminated, do not post in the thread again. Absolutely no editing or deleting posts for any reason, once you make a post it cannot be changed. Eliminated players should also not thank active players posts, for obvious reasons. Once you are eliminated you will receive a PM with a link providing access to a safe space where you can discuss the game away from the view of the players as soon as Necro can get to it.

2) Don’t cheat, it’s a game that relies heavily on the players having integrity. No PMing other players in the game. If you have any concerns about the game mechanics or the integrity of other players contact Necro who will make a decision. Do not discuss any of this in game or elsewhere, and please don’t discuss any aspects of the game elsewhere on the site whilst the game is ongoing. Always remember, there may be secrets. 

3) Please all try to reasonably contribute to the game thread and always remember to get a vote in (where it is possible for you to do so) as a minimum. 2 missed votes will result in a modkill. This is a large game with a large amount of players, so arranging a substitution is not possible unfortunately.

4) No posting of any PM's from the game mod. You may refer to the information contained within if you wish, but paraphrase, do not quote them verbatim. Think very carefully before revealing your character name, there are powers at play that may spell a very unfortunate end to your time in Boardsy, Indiana if you decide to do so…

5) Game starts with an extended day with the first action being the lynch at 9pm Monday evening. After 9pm Monday will be considered night 1.

6) You will be provided with a voting code in your role PM. Do not share your vote form password to anyone else. All votes for the eliminations have to be made by yourself. Voting will be done via Google forms with the link provided in the OP, and the dedicated lynch link thread in the Werewolf Forum. In the event of a tied vote on an elimination, the eliminated player may be decided by last vote cast - if other factors do not come into play. Voting form link:

7) Policy on Abuse: Boards has a no-abuse rule in place that is in effect in this forum as well. By all means, call people on dodgy behaviour, point out if they are being silly or behaving strangely, be aggressive in your approach; but DO NOT abuse another player. If you feel another player has stepped over a line, the first step is to ask them to stop; if they do not, please PM a forum mod (@quickbeam) or use the report button on the post in question. Forum mods will investigate and action any issues at an appropriate time, keeping the game mods informed of any actions as needed.

8) Have fun, make memes, take the piss and try to enjoy the game. Be aware that there are new players having their first experience, don’t look in grey areas not covered by these rules for any advantages and try to make the game enjoyable for all.

NB: Not a rule but important, especially given the drop off of Forum Games the past few years. We have new players playing or perhaps watching this game, so please make them feel welcome in the forum by behaving respectfully with your fellow players. If anyone new is reading this, we have a glossary of terms and acronyms which I have linked above, as well as the beginner’s guide, which is available to all within the werewolf sub forum. You can also PM Trigger or Necro for access to discuss the game away from view of the players.

Hunters Win: Kill all entities of Hell.

Vampire Win: Kill off the Demon Team and the Vampire Hunter, and gain parity with the Hunters
