    Not Your Ornery Onager

Never heard about residual speed before.

Anyone able to give a simple explanation?

I don't believe it's something that is tested normally, but for this test it's the speed the car is traveling at the point where the Continental had stopped. So if the Continental stops just before hitting the back of a car, the Triangle would hit the car at 34kph in the dry.

Hi all, need to replace all 4 tyres on ID4. Current tyres (car from new) have done 30k. Hankooks. I’m looking for…..

    Fronts 235/55R19

    Backs 255/50R19

Could anybody point me in the right direction please?, one recommendation for a mid tyre so far from Dave McCanns in Dublin 15 for Greenlander. €130 each for front, €140 each for rear.
I was told that some EVs only getting 16k out of their tyres, would that be correct?

I don’t have a huge budget, was hoping for €700 max total

Greenlander are budget tyres. If you are willing to get a fitter or use one recommended by the likes of tyreleader or oponeo then you will get premium summer tyres including Hankook fitted and balanced under your budget. Or you could get quality mid price like Toyo or Kumho all season tyres under budget (maybe even some premium also). For the price of the car (and your safety) get decent tyres

fyi Dave McCann will fit tyres you source yourself but he's expensive at €30 each. I got a couple of 17" Bridgestone's recently from Tyreleader and tried a number of fitters in D15 area. Thread below for reference/pricing
