yup, housing is a mess for everybody, and the disturbing fact is, nobody really knows what to do about it, so its gonna persist into the 30's….

Voted housing but that in turn is at least partly influenced by immigration which also needs to be significantly reformed.

we actually need immigrants to help solve our housing issues, cause you can be damn sure, very few irish, including myself, are heading to building sites anytime soon!

There are pressing issues but I will selfishly worry about the cost of living.

The more and more I think about it I feel the Immigration issue is an "It's the norm now. Suck it up". Our population is going to balloon. All parties will be on board and boo hoo if the genreal public disagree with it.

Without a serious crackdown on immigration we are never going to solve any of the other options presented. Our current infrastructure (all systems from Health to Housing, Education to Environment, Social Welfare etc…) is not designed to cater for 4.5m people, let alone the almost ~5.5m we have. We cannot and should not be ingesting more people into a system that is utterly creaking at the seams.
