I've been in Ongar village a few times, but never later than 7/8pm. Has it gotten worse or is that just anecdotal?

Ongar for me is just going the same way as all these built up areas the kids of a few years ago are now teens and hanging around with all the usual problems that go with that .When I do go for a walk around the green areas almost every time I see some sort of drug deal going down .Its a great pity when we are told how so well educated we are that so many get involved with drugs and the dangers to them and their famlies that brings .

Any idea what was happening in Chapelizod today, road closed with garda presence from the junction with the Phoenix Park/Strawberry Beds? That was at 14:30 so had to d-tour through the park and then on way back at around 17:30 road was still closed with barrier and garda car still stationed.

Lots of sirens and police chopper just a few minutes ago near Ongar, wonder what it was

Any ideas where in Clonsilla this was (I don't mean specific address)?

Any info as to whether this was a random attack or deliberate targeting for some reason?

I didn't ask for speculation, I asked was there information. If there is not, I didn't expect someone to go making it up.

A man in his 40's has reportedly been shot and wounded in the neck, in an attack on him at an obviously busy Browne's Steakhouse on Main Street, Blanchardstown.

Gardaí have confirmed one fatality of a man in his 20s, while a man in his 40s receives treatment for serious gunshot wounds at Connolly Hospital.

Sounds mental for Castleknock? Knocking over a guard and ramming other cars? No update since on this incident? Or the closure of beechpark avenue the next day?

Looking at the news they seem to be separate incidents. 1am and 9am

Georgina worked in Centra in Huntstown . nice girl , friendly , helpful and would bring a smile to your face .

Agreed completely. I've crossed there a few times and even with the pedestrian light green I would still be watching cars coming to make sure they slow down .

Time will tell what happened . I was thinking someone leaving the scene would be an indication of guilt but time will tell . Hopefully they find some dashcam footage .

It is a dangerous road and wouldn't surprise me to see speedbumps in along that stretch at some stage.

I hope a stop is put to this, now that 2 innocent lives have been lost. It's being going on for too long. Anyone breaking lights should be banned from driving , screw penalty points. We've seen the consequences of these actions.

The man badly hurt in an assault outside the Clonsilla Inn last Sunday has ,very sadly, died.

The Guards have made an arrest but are seeking any witnesses and for a "medical professional" who rendered assistance at the scene to contact them in Blanch.

Another senseless late night altercation resulting in death in this City, may he rest in peace.
