    Just purchased a Youtube Premium sub via Reddit for 30 USD for the year. i.e. about 2.50 EUR per month. Works perfectly and I am in an Irish family.

    Simply send a message to this guy ( https://www.reddit.com/u/xMaarrc/s/mcWGrBLejO ) and say you are in Ireland and want to join a YouTube family. You only pay after you are successfully linked to a family. The guy seems trustworthy given hundreds of posters having successfully joined a family after he sold them a slot.

    My family was finally deported from Ghana today after a couple of months of exhausting all other avenues to stay.

    Put on a flight to Turkey via Apple iTunes method. Turgame were the cheapest (compared against Eneba & CDKey) - giftcards codes took about 30 minutes to arrive.

    Already had an existing Turkish sub via iTunes for Disneyplus, so setup time was minimal.

    Was paying €2.80/m in Ghana, Turkey now €5.77/m (thanks to Apple's 30% commission), so cost has doubled, but hopefully this will be stable from now on.

    This tutorial got me a family plan in Turkey (no apple tax). Decided to get some extra storage while I was there (possibly overdoing it) the monthly option was fine but no payment taken when I tried to pay upfront for the year. Who knows I might get booted again in a month but for the moment it's working

    Was booted out of India today .


    Opened Ubran VPN on my MacBook, and connected to Kazakhstan.
    Clicked the link to reactivate my YouTube through my emails.

    Was Brought to YouTube Kazakhstan. Added my AIB debit card .

    Payment went through fine and was signed back up.

    €4.98 was 2700 Kazakh currency.

    Happy Days.

    Has anyone signed up through Romania, seems the be the next cheapest after Turkey.

    Edit: scratch that got the 'couldn't verify your country message' so will just go with Poland.

    Vpn unlimited wasn't working for me, did a free trial of NordVpn and signed up through Kazakhstan.

    Just opened the site in chrome incognito, signed in and then paid c €9.20 for a family plan.

    All my previous plan members got their access back too.

    Me and the family moved to Turkey today life is good since we left India. We presented ourself at the itunes refugee camp and bought some Turkish itunes vouchers to tie us over for the next 6 months. Fingers crossed they don't reject our claim for Asylum anytime soon.

    I just noticed that premium is gone from my YouTube account and same for you tube music.

    Logged into YT Music app again and it appears to be fine but not for YT main app.

    I checked both apps under membership and subscription and it has the family account etc ...

    Will try again in the morning

    Hi. Are you getting Deezer via Turkey? I have Deezer for the past few years, paying €10.99, I think. If I were to re-register via a different country, would I lose my playlists?

    Yes, I was paying 12.99 and now roughly 2pm. All playlists still the same. Similar to YouTube let your sub lapse and then sign up again using the turkey iOS method

    Update.

    I realised that I renewed the YT music sub but it didn't apply to YT video account.

    Went into YT video app. Upgraded there and it's working again.

    Peru is nice 🙂

    If you're canceling to move, wait until the month is up - why would you give Google money twice in the same month? Take advantage of what you have paid for until it stops working…

    Got booted out of South Africa yesterday, been using that for a couple of years. (they'll only accept SA payment methods now apparently)

    Didn't actually realise until I tried watching something on the TV on youtube this morning and ads came up. The horror.

    Been messing about with this all morning - managed to get signed up through Mexico. Not as cheap as some of the others at €6.48, but still less than half price.

    • Put my VPN to Mexico
    • Added a new Google payment profile with a fake Mexican address, changed this to my default.
    • Added my Revolut card as the payment method.
    • The country comes up as Mexico on the form when you're filling out your card details (which you can't change). I thought I'd chance my arm and added a Mexican Zip code and it worked.

    Just set it up on someone elses' iPhone / iPad. It's just the payment method you are linking to your account. Anyone in the house at home have one? It won't change anything to their iPhone or account. You'll be logging out of the apple account once you've it set up and linked to pay your YouTube.
