Agree with you. I failed to see the point or the entertainment in the movie.

    Pretty similar to my reaction.

On the ending, I really wanted the reciprocal transplantation as well - Alfie's mind trapped in a goat's body, looking at his body eating the bushes

I'm 45 and by no means a prude or averse to strange plots or sex scenes…

But, for the first time in my LIFE, I turned off a movie (30/40 mins in).

Having sex with the infant-powered body of a suicide victim, reincarnate…

    Utter Tripe!

Strange reasoning to me as her partner had no idea of this and she did not have a juvenile body or appearance.

Ah come on now a bit of harmless furious jumping never did anyone any damage!!

What was the story with the 2nd girl.

Did Willem Defoe happen across a 2nd pregnant suicidal woman . Or is she just simple because her Brain was starved of oxygen when she died ,not because she has baby brain ?

It was never specified, and it hardly matters, since the result was the same. She doesn't seem to be developing as quickly as Bella did, but the time scale is vague and a lot happens quickly towards the end.

I just watched this over two evenings, since I felt I needed a break, so I resumed tonight at the start of the Paris segment. I wasn't sure if I wanted to carry on, but it was worth it in the end. I didn't read anything about the book before seeing this, but now I have, I really think I need to read it. It appears that the movie only tells one side of the story, and our narrator is unreliable.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

    Jeepers!

I cannot believe that this is on Disney+ of all services.

I hope parents have proper control of their kids accounts.

They make plenty of movies for adults or own companies that do so I wouldn't consider it to be that weird.

    Sure. Understood.

This is the most explicit one I've seen so far on the service.

Parents however are generally clueless. Mostly not knowing that age/maturity level settings can be set for individual accounts and passcodes can be set for unrestricted accounts.

Most households generally have just one open account.

    Have you watched the movie?

I would have said most households have child specific accounts. If you don't, that's on you. It's an adult movie, it's in the adult section (I assume it's in the starz section). Netflix, prime, they'll all have children's programmes and adult programmes. It'll be for the parents to manage.

Its an interesting point though. Most people think Disney and a pretty general audience material like animation or marvel or star wars. Of course it's in parents to manage. You don't think of Netflix or the others and associate the same. That said I'm not sure Disney plus would survive if it just had Disney produced content.. when our kids were younger it's all they watched but rarely see a princess or cars movie being looked at now they are older.

Bit off topic here but if a kids got unrestricted access to a Disney+ account they've probably got access to the internet in general. But even sticking to Disney+, there's also stuff like the Deadpool films on there, but yeah sure the furious jumping is what'll 'traumatise' children and not the graphic and violent murders & dismemberments...

Disney+ is pretty good and quite clear with the age restrictions. New accounts used to default to 12 and under rated content too, and you had to switch it to include the more mature content - haven’t made a new account in a while though so not sure if that’s still the case. I don’t really buy that most parents are that naive these days either though.

This is far from the worst too, plenty of horror on there.

Yep I recall The First Omen had a huge advertising drive for the D+ release.
