Great bit of weather so a few more coats on and a few other bits.

Making the piping for the crash pad using some leftover diesel heater fuel line

Thanks to the guys at "Signs ASAP" in Swords.

Probably another 3 or 4 coats of epifanes poly-urethane to do.

You get a nice finish on and then this little fecker decides to go for a walk in his hobnail boots, I got to give him 10/10 for effort.

Back to bed for the night

I find this electric jockey wheel very handy for moving the boat saves hands from pushing and pulling.

That's the plan, this weather is a great help so the longer it lasts the more I will get done I might not have the varnish finished till next year but it will be good enough for average folk 😁

for the love of god, don't go out if it's any way choppy!

But if you do, stick an airtag on it so that it's easier to find the next time.

Now where would be the fun in that 😁

Do they work underwater 🤔 😄

Do you have some kind of locator function in mind this time around? Or even just a buoy on a long line?

I have a buddy that usually travels with me in his boat he is the one that pulled me out of the water, he was also Old school with no GPS or smartphone but like fixing the boat he now is also fixed with GPS and a smartphone with Google history 😀 then again even if she does go down on me again 😉 I will not be taking her back, once bitten twice shy, I will not be taken advantage of like that again she can stay at the bottom of the lake............ maybe 🤣

Just stick a line of airbags all around it and in it, but make sure they can be deployed under water and by remote - that way it'll be brought up for you with zero effort. A genius, you say? Yes, well, perhaps... I don't like to brag. :pac:

Maybe even just some lifejackets with hydrostatic autoinflators?

That's a big aul motor in there, would need a heck of a lot of buoyancy… something that could bring a line up to the surface though?

    I'm partial to your abracadabra,

I'm raptured by the joy of it all.

I thought that too, but the specs for that GM says it's 'only' 177kg

Oh for goodness' sake, don't let reality get in the way of a genius cartoon idea. If they're ACME ™, they're bound to work.

I do now have a PLB that will give off my location if I go down again 😬 the day she sank I had a lot of unfortunate things happen , 1 not been able to see land with the hailstones, 2 the other boat not having a modern phone or GPS, 3 big hole in boat went down very fast. 4 google history wasn't on on my phone 5 my GPS went down with the boat if I had a bit more time I would have put it in my dry bag, 6 unbelievable amount of other boats down there, 7 if the phone company could have told me where I lost signal. 8 larger than usual out of sync waves that I hit hard, 9 weak frame in the boat that split, 10 just bad luck, the backup boat was called "Murphy's Law" 😁 in ways I was lucky if the other boat was a bit further away from me he would not have been able to find me the visibility was that bad, I found her and she is back together 😀 Probably the longest first post on Boards.ie, hindsight would have been nice 😆

Maybe a self-inflating Dan Buoy? Any least you'd be easier to see. Or that green marker ink? Don't get this on AliExpress or you might be dyed green permanently
