Prices for guitar lessons?

    What's the going rate for guitar lessons these days? I'm thinking it could be a little side earner and a way of meeting people and getting out and about (I'm stuck behind a screen 9-5).

    Where I live is a quite rural so students would have to come to me or I'd have to factor in travel.

    Any ideas what the going rate would be? I've no formal qualifications but I've been playing approx 25 years and play to a pretty decent standard. I've given lessons to family and friends before and had good feedback as a teacher.

    I looked into a few places around Dublin and prices do vary quite a bit. Some teachers were charging €25 for half an hour, others wanted €60 for an hour. I ended up going for lessons on acoustic guitar online with experts since it fit better with my schedule and was more affordable overall. Plus, I could book sessions more flexibly, which was handy.
