I have that BBQ. It’s great. Well worth it.

Weber are doing a cashback offer this year again, €50 back on that model taking it down to € 299

Edit, wrong BBQ, so not included in the cash back, sorry :-(

These take a while to build but worth it, good deal especially with the cashback.

We got the Spirit II  E-210 last summer, for approx 220 Euro after the cashback from Weber, and its a very well made BBQ.

Just pulled the trigger on the 310 model I got the Q2000 last and was really impressed with it.

    So nice upgrade for myself

Id say its the last of the stock Id imagine new stock below.

    TRIGGER PULLED.

Waiting for this or similar. Thanks OP. Great for the mobile. Have a Genesis 2 at home. The brand is pricey but they have my brand loyalty. The Genesis is bomb proof.

Great Bargain. I think it's better looking than the new models too.

I wonder about the cashback will I be able to claim again this year even though I claimed last year.

Fair play to you @irishgeo thanks for posting.

That page lists the Spirit E310 but not the Spirit II E310 as is on offer in Woodies, so are you sure about that? Part number for Spirit E310 eligible for cashback is 1500869 while the Woodies product is part number 45010174.

Ah that's a shame on the cash back - still, €350 is a decent deal!

Collecting this in half hour. Thanks for posting.

I bought the Weber q2200 in woodies for 299 about 6 years ago. Got a ton of use from it but I was thinking of replacing it soon as it’s a bit small and only one burner. This could not have come at a better time….for the rain tomorrow lol.

    argh this is very tempting.
My master cook 4 burner finally died this year after 5 years and I was planning on getting something with a bigger cooking space.

Space on this is pretty much the same but a much better built bbq.

family of 5 and frequently have a couple more to feed

Even with the cashback out the window still happy enough with that deal.

Weber have amazing no questions asked service and with a 10 year garantee on parts hard to go wrong for that money.

I was in Woodies last Sunday chatting with a staff member about BBQs, as I was in the market for one. He pointed to the Weber Spirit II and said, “Next week, that’s going to be reduced from €699 to €350 – half price.”

I went home and did a bit of research. The €699 seemed a bit high, as I saw it listed at €549 in other places – though I also found it going for €749 elsewhere. It gets great reviews online, even after years of use, so I decided to wait for the reduction.

Checked every day until yesterday, saw the price drop, and went ahead and bought it.

Not too bad to put together if you follow the instructions carefully, and I’m really happy with it. Hopefully, I’ll get another 10 years out of this one.

how big was the box? went to check out and they were charging €55 for delivery which is a bit steep, but not sure if it will fit in the car

I had a problem fitting it in the car but just unpacked the parts and left the cardboard boxes in the shop and all was fine

Where are people picking up covers for these?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,009 ✭✭✭✭OmegaGene

im surprised nobody has mentioned that if you create an account online you get 10% off which can offset some of the delivery charge of 55 euro

The Weber one is €99 and the Woodies equivalent is €24… When I get the BBQ set up I'll take a photo of the Woodies cover on it.

    #MEGA MAKE EUROPE GREAT AGAIN

Anyone buying Weber gas BBQ make sure that the grill area is cast iron vs some lightweight material that will rust to dust in 2 years.

I haven’t purchased a Weber in about 10 years but even updated 2 and 3 burners I’ve looked at in shops over last couple of years often have the lightweight ceramic grills -these are absolute sh01te so beware - cast iron will be heavy so you’ll know instantly - walk if they’re ceramic lightweight- you’ll have to spend good money replacing them

I got this one from Amazon for Spirt II 200 last year, it was recommended on that thread - great fit, very happy with it and significantly less than Weber cover

Check if they have a cover for this model
