    Michael,

Didn't even check it out but saw it as I was running after my son at the time, but there is a 42 inch plasma in Woodies for 1300 + euro. I saw it yesterday in their branch in Sandyford.

Have no idea if 1300 is a good price.

I just got a 42" Panasonic PWD6 from Richer sounds in Belfast on Friday. Great prices and great to deal with

Highly reccommend a Panasonic from up there. Panasonic and Pioneed plasmas are miles above hitatchi, philips, sony etc

www.avforums.com has a fantastic forum for info on plasmas. The lads there really know their stuff so I'd reccommend signing up there first of all and they will gladly answer any questions and give you some expert advice

that link is for a 37"PW7, the 42" PW6 is not listed but ring them and see.
I got my PW6 from them and am very pleased with it. I think the PW7 requires a board for scart or component. The PW6 can take component in via the VGA. Gets good reviews on www.avforums.com

www.tvandvideodirect.com would be your best bet and they deliver to Ireland and have very good customer service

www.richersounds.ie is still cheaper than that site. Best thing is to ring the belfast shop and see what they have on offer. You might be able to pick up a good deal on a display model. And they will deliver to dublin
