Presume for the max service. Any news on the plans for the other options (As I won't need 15mb, if I can save €20 a month and get anything over 3, I'll be happy)

I've been monitoring my downloaded speeds with ntl over the last few weeks. I've noticed the last 5 or so days I am getting downloads around 1.5mbps. I am subscribed to the basic 1 MBps service!

wow... 15mpbs is a big jump from 3mpbs... nice and sexy but i'd be more interested if ntl spends more money to improve customer service... minimise breakdowns, or at least notify customers what is going wrong with their network...

i am now fully depending on ntl ie. broadband wt blueface... had a terrible experience earlier this month... all ntl services went off for a week and only to find out that it was a mistake during maintenance - wrong wires into wrong house!

15mb/s seems a bit high. I've heard rumours of 5mb/s for standard and 8mb/s for max.

Maybe they will be introducing a new tier aimed at business. The thing is 15mb/s would be really pushing it on the DOCSIS 2 equipment they use at the moment.

Howeve as a max customer, I certainly wouldn't complain if they did :)
