nice shots, did you use an ND filter on the first one?

    Where's Bono?

No filters on the first one - circular polarizer on the second two.
The light in the first photo is actually of the moon - fish eye lens wide open (f2.8) at 30 seconds exposure.

Out of the 3, i like the second one best. You need to clean ur sensor.

It's all film - no digital cameras me.
The smeg is on the prints only - and given that I got them developed in a one horse town that's not too bad.

most modern printers don't print from neg directly, they get scanned and printed digitally. i've seen dust on my Fuji Frontier printers scanner before which gives the same dust spots on prints that you see on dSLRs

That's what I thought too ... dust and hairs on dSLR sensors usually result in much more diffuse looking blobs than those which were quite sharp in comparison.

Indeed - P1 is clean of dust though - the "spots" are massive spheres of hydrogen being fused into helium and other elements under their own gravity.

    Nice

What lens did you use for that? How close can you get to the deer in the park (ie, how tame to humans are they)?

I saw your shots on flickr alright, very impressive!

They aren't tame, but not overly skittish either - I'd estimate I was about 30m away (reasonably hidden). It's 200mm lens at max zoom hence the forshortenning effect.
