    Hey,

I'm in need of advice as to what hair straightener to buy. While I'd love a GHD i'm a broke student so i'm looking for a budget model.

    Any advice?

I have pretty average hair, fairly thick and quite long.

Remington Power Ceramic ones seem to be a winner for a budget :)

I paid €25.95 for Remington GHD in Roches - does a good job!

I have the real GHDs and I'd say if you can afford them, go for it.
Mine are 3 years old and I use them every day. So they've worked out quite cheap really and are pretty durable considering all the straightening they've done!
If you aren't going to use them all that much, the cheaper ones would be grand I'd say.

The remington's are the business. No need to pay for overpriced brand names

I've bought plenty of hair straighteners in the past and the best value for money is Mark Hill Morphy Richards. I got it for 50 euro 50 cent on a half price sale last Christmas. It still works brilliantly. :)
