Yeah it good, i have used it for over a year and am happy with it. You can purchase it from www.fitnessireland.ie they have a good deal running at the moment.

Yep Pro X is good stuff, i finished off the last of it and moved onto Easygainers optimum whey. I wont be buying it anymore because its expensive ( as like everything in this country  ) but if you have the cash for it, get it, i recommend it anyway.

Rumours abound about attempts to set up something like myprotein or wheyconsortium in the UK. It will be a bulk buying ( 10 pounds or more basically ) deal involving whey protein isolate and concentrate most likely. they normally provide things like maltodextrin and flavourings seperately.

All in all, it is something i would like to see get off the ground, i hope it happens.

Yes, once agan the guys at www.fitnessireland.ie has a decent deal on this as well.

I actually did some product testing on this and found it to be very good, reducing DOMS a bit and adding about 6 pounds over the course of a 40 day testing period with no addition to bodyfat. It should also be noted that at this point i would have been an advanced trainer as well.

its nice with water too, an aquired taste though :D by the way are there different absorption times if you mix whey with milk or water? e.g if water is faster than milk or or they the same?

I don't know about a protein/ carb mix, but I love their whey as do most of the guys I train with. I started using Nutirition X recently and while its too soon to see any real difference training wise, the nutrisport always mixed a lot better than what I have now.

Cravez- whey gets absorbed much faster when its mixed with water so its best to water-mix for your post-workout shake.

Milk is great for mixing for a shake last thing at night. The casein protein in milk is a much slower aborbed protein and the Ca in the milk slows down the whey absorption.
