There is a tournament annoncements sub forum...

also you need to specify ALL of the details as laid out here before you can announce on boards.

The OP's the one getting paid to post on boards the least he can do is have some f**king manners and read the charter if he can't do that delete the post until he learns.

Nick a guy who does his absolute best for boards members and is very open to criticism and suggestions got hauled over the coals for running a reg free sat but annonucing it in the wrong place and some randomer comes along pimping his sh1t and thinks he's going to get to run a free ad with no comment needs to be told clearly where he stands imho. I call that helping out

As was mentioned before in this thread http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2054890146 these aren't the worst guys and it was me who advised them to come to boards to plug their game. Afik its a 50 + 10 reg game with 2 rebuys or 1 rebuy + 1 Top-up @ 50 + 10 reg aswell. Yes it is a little steep as is the ante coming in on level 4. But I do believe the blind levels are 30 minutes. I just mised a call from JP so i'll call him back and post it up fully as per charter.

My apologies for incorrectly posting the tournament yesterday. You are right i didn't follow correct procedure, i was told by one of member that i could just put a message up and i wasn't aware of the procedures that were in place. I will see to it that it doesn't happen again.

Fair play JJP and Gerire for coming back and making the changes and also listening to feedback from BigD et al. I had me grumpy head on yesterday and your post coincided with some very dodgy pseudo reports from other outfits and I guess I lumped you guys in there with them im my ranting. That wasn't fair and Brian's more helpful post was definitely more in order. Anyway I'm back in my box now. Reasonable and well run tournaments in the Midlands are needed and if you can find you feet and make improvements and a profit as you go I'm 100% for that as are 99% of the posters here.

I hope the tournie goes well and while its been a while since I lived in Kill I might make it to a game sometime. Stranger things have happened :)

    Good luck

    Olly.

Nice one JP, much better. Seeing as your in the listening mood I would advise you start at 4k chips, rebuy 5k and add-on 6k as a 5k add-on is less than 10xbb after the freezeout.

It's at the southern end of Kill village. 8 miles the Dublin side of Naas. You can't miss it driving on the motorway.

Thanks for the good feed back!!
4k, 5k and 6k makes goos sense, however i have told all my members (of which 139 are already paid in)that it will 5k, 5k, and 5k and it maybe to late to change the night before.

I'm always open to suggestions to improve my touraments, afterall the night is about the players. It's going to be a weekly event and i will have a good look at how smoothly the night goes.
