A creme egg one, still living in the dissapointment that they can't get the bigger egg like a proper creme egg, some day, some day.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,347 ✭✭✭daiixi

I was in my local Dunnes last night about 10 minutes before they closed and they only had about 15 eggs left!!!! Also yesterday I walked past Thorntons and people were practically trampling each other to grab one of the few remaining eggs on the shelves.. don't people plan ahead anymore?
Oh yea, I got given a crunchie egg and bought myself a couple of lil creme eggs..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 906 ✭✭✭FuzzyWuzzyWazza

Told everyone I don't want any eggs, as I do every year, I don't eat much chocolate and other ppl just end up eating mine anyway. But I still got a chocolate easter bunny, 'cos it's not an egg!

    TRAITOR!

    TRAITOR!

Incidentally, did anyone notice that most eggs are only dated until July? Presumably to stop people from buying them cheap tomorrow and hoarding them for next year, thus allowing next years sales to suffer!

The crafty chocolatemakers :)! It's very peculiar though - since chocolate should hold for about two years... it would be very feasible to hold onto it.
