I have to be quick here before my system goes down again.
I.ve done as much with google as i can before i crash and burn. I have tryed turning of some services that some sites said to try but to no avail. This is what i'm geting from the windows report C:\DOCUME~1\kitchen\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERba81.dir00\svchost.exe.mdmp
    C:\DOCUME~1\kitchen\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERba81.dir00\appcompat.txt.
I think i may be a network issue as when i disabled my lan it seemed ok but when enabled its back to the same thing again even when i disable lan.
Its not that new a build, maybe 3mths, running win xp pro service pack 2.
Any pointers very welcome as its driving me nuts.

You might have a virus on your hands, go into Safe mode, scan for viruses and see if that helps. Also run msconfig.exe and check the Startup tab for anything suspicious.

F**k this, i've tried all i can, Kaspersky ran for over an hr and found noting, tried serveral hotfixes from microsoft so the only option open to me now i think is a clean install, that or violence

So you installed the Msblast.exe worm patch from Microsoft and these files still remain?
