All details of tourney are on the tourney forum.

If ye're thinking of coming down I need to know a.s.a.p. We can only cater for 30 teams and I already have 25 teams confirmed.

My phone number is 06430057 or 0872833343

    Gholi,
Maybe you are also under the misaprehention that theres easy money to be got down here. Youll be still scrathing your head a week later trying to figure it all out.I just hope John the farmer and Maggie "flopitis" Cooke are on your table. Now that would be something :D

P.S-- We're planning to run a €150 individual F/O the following day, Sunday about 2:00pm with 30 min blinds for those interested. naturally 100% payout.

    >Maggie "flopitis" Cooke

Omg... I've seen this lady play. She's a scream! She's a nice old dear but she is afflicted by a sickness ("Flopitis") where she simply CANNOT not see the flop. She'll perfectly happily fold to a bet AFTER the flop but beforehand, no... her head would explode or something.
Honestly, I saw her call 375 preflop in a 1/2 NL game with something like 75o.
Between her and the guy who was betting by colours ("I'll bet two blue two white and two red, how much is that?" "Thats 252 sir" "Right you are" "1/2/252... your action sir") the pros were offering people 100 euro for their seat!

    Funniest cash game ever....

    DeV.

I have been advising the said lady over the last six months. Now when I'm about she plays a solid game. The problem is she waits till i go for a cigarette and then calls for €200+ with 72os. Now Maggie is a legend in waterford and kerry(she splits her time between the two counties) for her flopitis but she is getting there and can play very crafty 50% of the time now. All I'll say is good help us when she really gets the game as she will do some damage as a few of the Macau lads(ken corkery & ken o regan) will verify. Ken Corkery words " I went to blazinaces and some granny cleaned me out"

    Yeah Dev,
I remember it well. She actually called with 3-2o and won the hand
And who was the player betting in chip colours? the famous "John the farmer"
    Put em together and wow!!

Funny story from that cash game, The farmer raised( blind) multiple colours from utg
blinds 1-2, raise to 325, folded to Ken o Regan (from the maccau) who had waited two hours for a hand to take the farmer on with, Ken reraises to 600 all in, farmer calls blind. Ken shows KK, farmer turns over Q-5, Q on the turn ,5 on the river for a 1203 pot for the farmer. classic stuff.

That was the sickest hand ever. There was a crowd for that cash game like you have never seen. All of this was going on in the Cue Club Gholi, you can't beat the action... not with a sh*tty stick!

By the way DEV, "john the farmer" has a team entered in the tiurney and is looking forward to clashing with the visitors in the cash game. Come prepared.

I'll never forgetr that hand. There was actually €2K in the pot. Ken oregan was in for 900 with KK, as was the farmer with Qx, and a shortstack for about €200 with AT.

The farmer did not look at his hand preflop, and called Ken's all in lbinds.

Flop J-2-3. Turn a Queen, River a Queen.

I sat down in Ken's chair and folded 4 hands before he farmer busted out. I tihnk nicnic got most of it.

Just get ossified in the bar. No way will that cost you 30k. Hopefully chopper can sort you out. It's too late to enter a new team as far as I know.
