Ha, funny! Find a bassist/guitarist/drummer. they're the worst to find . Pick some covers ya all wanna do and then jam. That's the only way. Need a vocalist??

yar, its hard to set up a band, guess hanging around music ppl works, this forum is also not too bad. What are your influences? Need a lead guitarist/keyboardist?

I think pestering your friends into picking up an instrument is a good idea, presuming they have a similar taste in music. It mightn't produce the best music at the start but once one person in the band can play (i.e. you) it's a good stepping stone.
