I had an amazing time this year, its my second freshers week and it doesn't compare in anyway to my first. Every night I went out was fantastic ENTS or not. TLB was good and Philth was apparently great...... Anybody wanna add what they think.
Does college just get better as the years go on or is this a good omen for this years event calander to be great?

The Hecklers at McSavage came off very badly...

This was my first Fresher's Week, and it was absolutely brilliant. I met loads of new people, went to a few great events in the Buttery (McSavage was class!) and joined way too many societies.

Despite the fact I'm dazed and confused about my timetable, I'm sure that'll sort itself out. I hope we can maintain this level of enjoyment throughout the year. :D

I enjoyed this freshers week. its been about 10 MILLION times more exhausting than any other one though - helping out handing out water and condoms in the buttery, moving into campus, going to nearly every night out and not paying in to anything - getting hideously hideously HIDEOUSLY drunk....ow.

well done to all involved, was class.

I'm exhausted, sick and in severe pain, but I had a blast. Now let us never speak of it again.

Fantastic to see everyone again. A great week of chatting to everyone, loitering about stands, getting up to all sorts of fun things. Better than the last time, not sure why.

Very true. We're still relatively certain that it caused irreversible mental damage.

Yeah, but it was worth it. So very very worth it. But that's not important to this discussion. Last year was the best year of my life and there I'll leave it.

I presume you can get the official line by emailing the President? I can't really go asking questions either as I would appear too partisan. But it's worth finding out about.

...and we're back down to 8 posts on Freshers' Week. Was it really that much of a non-event for most people? I do kinda like the fact that there's now some random quote from me where I call Bartley crazy. Seems appropriate...

Of course it's appropriate. I AM that crazy (I had people asking me about the well-being of Jackson last week) so it's all good. I'm damn hot too. ;)

It wasn't so much a non-event as people are still wrecked. Last year, I just spent Sunday in bed trying to recover and get back to full physical, emotional and mental health. Didn't work.
