Will it still work? I just don't want to go through the hassle of installing all the CDs and patches again....

yup it will - just copy the folder in prgram files named world of warcraft and its good to go. i had an issue installing on my laptop so i just used this method to an external harddrive and all went perfect :)

I never put games in Program Files, way too messy. I always have a "Games" folder that I install my games into. But anyway, yeah you can just copy the folder, it'll work fine, I've done it a few times before.
