Following on from this thread it looks like some people would like to ask questions of the more experienced players.

So nominate in this thread who you'd like to find out more about, and if they are happy to answer then we can start a new thread for them.

    Questions should be about
    1) Their poker history, how they started, how long they've been playing etc
    2) What they currently play, what games, what levels, etc
    3) Why they think they are good/bad, strengths/weaknesses, etc
    4) Favourite colour/beer/etc

    Nominate away!

PS Bops has already been nominated by some sick ****s.

    Norwich Fan Rob

HJ - like to hear him dish the dirt on himself...my perception at the moment is that he is either the perfect poker player or a smidge on the arrogant side...open to be corrected either way

I'd like to see HJ answer 5 pages of questions on Pro Evo 6.

Pillowtalk, Norwich Fan Rob would be two I'd like to ask questions of about poker.

Daithio is in Thailand at the moment I think, but apparently they have wireless everywhere there, so I'm sure he'd do it and lots of people would benefit.

I would be willing to do a dealer's well.

HJ, Fuzz, DeVore, RT, Ste, pok3rplaya, NFR, Goli and I'm sure there are others that I'd like to see get grilled

    HJ and Nicky.

My worst nightmare is being in the last 3 of a 2 ticket sat for the WSOP with these two - and I'm the big stack.

    Norwich Fan Rob.
Seems to know a fair bit and also capable of putting it across well.

    He's much better at 5! :p

And FWIW the PS2 version of Pro Ev 6 is an absolute suckfest. It's a cheap regurgitated Pro Ev 5 with a few tweaks. Xbox 360 is a gazillion times better and has a new improved game engine. PC version of Pro Ev 6 is the same as the PS2. Horrific.

I've spent the last week just trying to keep the ball low while shooting why is everything so complicated these days! world cup 90/football champ/sensible soccer hold for power/long pass/short pass/tackle/cross....it's too fecking complicated now!

are you talking about cars or something?

My winrate on pro ev 6 for the ps2 is slightly above my winrate for 5 on the ps2, I think there is less luck in the game to be honest. They are very similar games though and most people have no problem going from one to the other. Pro Ev 6 on the 360 is totally different, I managed to get then hang of it after a few games but its a whole different game. The graphics are far superiour to either of the ps2 games, but since its a new console thats to be expected.

Perhaps it should be "nominate someone who hasn't been nominated already". :)

Along with those named above, how about some of the quieter members :)
    Scott Gray.
    Jesse May.
Pauly (from Tao of Poker, Blogger/Pro resident in Vegas)
    Mike Lacey
    KP
Niall O'C (would like to question him on his experience of leaving a comfy work environment to play!)

I think rather then a day in the well... a week in the well would work better. Gives the well-dweller more time to respond and is less of a burden overall (I should imagine) ... ???

HJ & Fuzz - for there hand reading skills

PillowTalk - on how to leapfrog the levels to high steaks and maintain bankroll/balls to continue and on how to play the bubble in big tourneys

    NorwichFanRob/Ollieboy - on tournament play

PPPSpecial - On how to speech play the table and go broke on AQ in successive tournaments

Ghollimoli - as he is the best results based commentator on hands. From what I can see from reading boards he would always have done the right thing.

Lol. It ain’t so! I’ve taken a bit of a break from poker as it’s my final year in college. I will be back playing & posting once I get this year over with. Nice to see a few people still remember me.

Never to be forgotten, come back soon, and GL in your Final year...

As well as all the people already nominated, I'd also like Cardshark in the well...

EDIT: Roundtower would also be a good one too, I'm sure we'd have more specific questions that wasn't covered by his 2+2 well... e.g. Hold 'Em Q's, the Main Event and the Irish Live Poker scene...
