reducing the size of files for dvd burning

    Is there any programme out there that I can use to reduce the size that a file takes up on a dvd but at the same time keep the quality?

    I have a few videos on my computer and when I try and use DVD shrink it cant detect them when I browse for them.Is that because they havent been decrypted from a DVD?is there a way to get dvd shrink to detect them?

    dvd shrinks shrinks dvds by taking away extra audio tracks ,french german etc extra scenes ,commentarys subtitles etc, thats what its designed for.You may reduce videos by converting them to divx format, google divx programs ,download free video to divx and VLC ,vlc plays any video format.
