Where can i get them (buy and fitted) that will balance the wheel and won't scrape my rims?

Would you consider buying them online and just paying someone to fit them afterwards?

Try cotters up behind the red cow, they fit them there and they have loads of cheap geat to search through while your waiting :D

The Bike Tyre Company haven't scraped any of my rims yet. That said, I haven't been able to tell if that's due to skill or luck.

BTW, the *will* fit tyres if you bring them along, but they make you pay an inflated (oh, how very droll) rate to do so.

You could always try Iggys place. Here's their site. Good lads and know their stuff. They also can fit Ultra Seal.

    Aprilia tyres?? :D

I'm using Metzeler Roadtec Z6 tyres on my VFR 800. They're supposed to be Metzeler's latest answer to Bridgestone's 020, but I hear that Bridgestone will be bringing out a new version of their tyre in the very near future. Anyhoo, the Metzeler's are excellent. So far, very little sign of wear (only 1000kms on them, so that's not too surprising), they warm up very quickly, and they're grippier and more confidence-inspiring than the Bridgestone. Prior to these, I'd used Bridgestones almost exclusively, but these Z6s are changing my mind.
