    PLO : 1/2 full ring

Earlier the villain c/c a pot bet in an unraised pot with AK43 no suits on a K83 twotone board. Turn was 3, he check/call my half pot, and check a blank river to me (I check behind and lose).

    Effective stacks 200.

    Preflop
I am in the BB with AJT8 three clubs.
There are some limpers (5 or 6) and I check my option

    Flop (13)
    8 8 4 r
I lead for 8, I get a MP caller, and then villain makes a pot raise ... action on me and I ??

Seems like an easy re-pot, no? Although the previous hand would indicate that the most likely hand he has here is 84, it's still not enough to make me play this anyway cautiously. I try to get it all in here.

44 seems to be a likely holding here with MP having the other 8 it would seems, but you never know I guess. By repotting here you get most of your money in on the flop and 44 is a likely caller surely. I'm not sure I like the repot though tbh, but then again I am on the conservative side perhaps a bit too often. If you call and the turn is a brick are you really folding anyways? I think if you call and MP calls too then shove on the turn.

    Tried to edit:
Just noticed the MP caller. Don't know what to make of that. Assuming MP is an idiot I just get it in here. If not I guess calling isn't the worst play.

Don’t like a repot here at all with how villain has been described.
Villain is does not seem tricky to me rather quit tight (he even checked the river with a boat ) and when he raises here on a rather dry board it suggest to me that we are behind at the moment.
The thing is we can improve further with a T,J,A, so i think its best just to call his bet.

Because he is so tight he is unlikely to call if we hit. You could just call and then pot the turn. This puts the pressure on him and an underhouse wont call very often.

I'd usually get it all in here, though calling and potting any turn card higher than a 4 could be good.

    Results, I laid it down.
I dont like the call and pot any card > option tho, because he probably wont fold whatever he has.

I think repot now or fold is best. I chose fold. Maybe I suck tho.
