    Hi all,

I am already after havibng a look throught the free software sticky but cannot find this programme.

Basically what it is, is an add-on for an internet browser through which you can use the webtext function on Meteor.ie or whatever, without actually having to be on that site all of the time.

Someone has it as their signature but I cannot remember for the life of me who!

    Any help appreciated.

It works on my laptop but it is complicated to opena dnw ork...I have to open a flder and ask a what looks like a wordpad file to open through Java and then it works.

It could do with refining and if I had the know-how I would do it but I do not!

It's a great idea though and I hope whoever did it does take this on board to make it better and more accesisble.

ok so not a browser add on, it's a standalone executable more like the multitext one above

    http://www.mackers.com/projects/o2sms/download.php

i use it all the time from the command line in linux, as far as i can remember the windows version works just fine with the exception that it doesn't store your contacts

    Hi Fabio,

I wrote an application called JSMS. Make sure you have the latest Java installed on your PC before running this. I would love to make it into a Firefox Extension but dont have the time to work on this.

    http://meteorjsms.googlepages.com/

If you have any problems getting started with it just send me an email and I'll help out no probs...

    Cheers
    Finbarr

    Also try www.randomprojects.eu/multitext/web

It's basic and you fill in your details each time. Update coming soon where you can specify your user/pass/service in the url or via cookie.
