ESP LTD EC-1000 in Vintage Black.
was looking at the Eclipse II's in ESP but for the actual difference's it wasnt worth the money to me. Got it for 600 Euro inc delivery from the states. Mad thing is that I went into instrumental in town and priced it.....1400 Euro!

Lovely stuff. I'm not a LP type guy by any stretch of the imagination, but if i was to get a singlecut guitar, it would definitely be one of those EC's.

    Congrats:D

OK, now I'm jealous. I've wanted one of those for ages. Are they locking Sperzels?

Wont have to pay any import tax. Its being shipped to the states first then onto me by someone who will be using it for 1 day. Therefore its second hand and a gift to me.

you're gona have to pay tax on that mate..expect another 250 on top of what you paid.

not if its marked as a gift and where'd you get €250 from? just pick it out of your head.
The bass I just bought from japan was more expensive than that guitar and i only had to pay €160, of course I bought mine from a shop. Its different if its a gift, no tax.

Gift is only valid if it's less than €45 I believe. And it would only be about €150, not €250.

I'm in the states a lot and have sent multiple boxes and packages worth a lot more than that guitar back and forward from there to here and vice versa. never paid a penny.

I got the last one! Apparantly ESP are way behind in back orders so it could be another 6 months before they start showing up again. It took me AGES to find one online. I think Thomann may have some though

Not the worst price and deffo cheaper than Instrumental for 1400. Not only were they vastly overcharging they tried to talk me out of it and tried to get me to buy the eclipse II for 2500 Euro or so.
    http://www.thomann.de/ie/esp_eclipse1ctm_vbk.htm
There it is for 1700. and its about 1100 in the states. Thats over a grand difference!

Not an LP fan myself, but THAT one I'd buy. Has similar looks to the Epi Goth I was going to pick up a few months back (but much higher quality, of course).
