    Hi guys wondering what you make of my play here
    (sorry if not totally au fait with the whole terminology)

    Low limit hold em on pokerstars.

    Blinds .5/.10
    Hero dealt 4d,4h on big blind

    everyone folds except small blind who adds to blind

    I bet .30c
    villain calls
    Flop = 9c,9d,4c
    villain bets .20c
    hero reraises €2
    villain calls

    turncard = 7s
    villain checks
    hero raises €2
    villain calls

    rivercard = Ah
    villain raises €3 all in

    Do I fold?

    No you insta-call...

    You played this hand well, the turn bet looks a little small you could have probably just put him all in there if he only had $5 left.

    Other than that it looks good, WP. :)

    Pretty much agree with Ste05. The raise on the flop seems large in comparison to the pot. You dont want to lose this guy, particularly if he is drawing to a club flush (which I'm guessing he was from the way he has played it, though he's played it quite badly if so).

    DeV.

    ps: Why in god's name would you think of folding on the river?! I'd ask for my chips back so that I could put them in again!! I'd say he has a 9 at best, or possibly a busted flush draw. If he has 77 or AA or 99 then too bad, we have a sticky for those occasions :)

    If he has you beaten then you were just unlucky in this situation. If he has A9 or 97 or somesuch, then you were never getting him off it or getting away from it yourself.

    your flop raise is a bit big. otherwise the hand is fine. You *never* fold the river here.

    I fold here every time.

    ...

    NOT!!! No one would, or should, fold this. If you're beaten, oh well, that's poker. Most of the time in this spot you'll be winning.

    I would probably just call or make a smaller raise on the flop, the way you played it you might have made a flush draw fold which is not what you want.

    On the turn, having raised so big on the flop and got a call, and considering how little he has left, I think you should just push it all in, because it's likely he has a 9 or an overpair and you should make him pay to draw against you.
