When I use the search function (for anything at all) in boards.ie, it always returns "nothing found".

I just tried "Zuiko 70-300mm", "Olympus ED 70-300mm", and "ED 70-300" and all returned nothing.

    Anyone know why?

Because the 'real' search function in vBulletin is currently disabled due to performance issues, and the replacement search, provided by BoardTracker only searches thread titles, not the posts themselves.

http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=82 post to feedback! Or just have a read of some threads there, it has been dealt with before.

You might find some info in the Helpdesk as well, not sure though, I havent looked http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=30

Subscribers have the search function (I think it does a full search). I did a search for you and this is the only thread that came up.

That lens hasn't been released yet, though there has been plenty of speculation about it over on dpreview
