What are the best gyms near the City Centre, I'm really just looking to lose weight. I need a trainer. What would be the best value for Money?

Don't go the Crunch Fitness Premier in Temple Bar. The place is way overcrowded and they'll try and sign you up under false advertising and fake promotions. All management want is to get more and more people in the door with zero consideration for existing members.

I've nearly gottne into a screaming match with crunch. I went for a look around when they opened first. COmplete eejit that I am I put my real phone number down on the form they give you to fill in before they show you around. Anyway gym was no good for me because it only has a tiny pool. I told them this at the time but at least once a week I get a phonr call or a text advising me of their latest special offer. No matter how many times I ask to be taken off their promotional list it never happens.

Next time they call/text, ring and ask for the manager. Tell them that you have repeatedly requested to be removed from their database, but they have not done so. Tell them that you want to be immediately removed from the database and that you want written confirmation to be sent out to this effect. If this is not done, or if you continue to get unsolicited contacts, you will be making a complaint to the data protection commissioner. Get names from whoever you talk to (it always scares people into doing their job).

That should get them to leave you alone. If not, report their asses!
