They're horrible. Quit now and give me your gear. Right now. This moment.

    Ship your camera to...

    I mostly jest.

I can't say much for the oranges, but the sunset photo is very nice.

Hmm, a little harsh don't you think? I only started out a few months ago.

I have to say some of your work is pretty nice.

He was joking if you didnt quite get it...

The picture of the sunset is quite nice. The oranges might be nice with some photoshop work, maybe removing all the colour from the surrounding area and just leaving the oragnge?

the oranges are somewhat too orange perhaps. Maybe yoy meant it like that it's hard to tell sometimes!!!
Try it with the saturation drained out a bit!

second one is pretty ok - i like the composition and colours the sun of course is blown out but thats going to be difficult to control

overall good work - well done

    :)

I like the sun, but needs a bigger version, although the colours seem abit strong

Tasty. I like the oranges, but the stacked chairs in the background detracted from it a little. Love the focusing though.

The sunset looked a little posed. I expect to see it in some middle managers office with a motivational statement under it in the near future :)
    I do like it though!

Fenster is paying you a compliment. Dont send him your camera (send it to me!).

    DeV.

The plastic chairs in the background ruin the oranges for me.
I can see where you were going with it though & you've definitely got potential. The devil is in the detail though.

It's a typical garden scene... who doesn't have a pile of stacked chairs that the mother always point out as being ugly... eh? :)

Good use of depth of field.

    Okay,

I am going to run against form and say I don't really like the sunset at all. The sun is just that bit too burned out for my liking.

I like the oranges, but what I would do with it is raise the contrast a little and darken the background a lot. I like the angles in it very much but am not myself too sure about the depth of field used. However, I think that may be a question of taste.

    Thanks for sharing.

I would agree about the depth of field on the Oranges. I was expecting some more detail or sharpness on them or something.

Thank you all for your positive feedback and critique. I was quite surprised by the response.

At least i have several things to improve on now.

    Thanks again,
    Kevin.
