dissapointed in film processors

why waste your energy ranting about something that's not going to change? Priorities change when markets change. I'm sure if some company that deals majorly in digital prints started to turn out bad quality, it'd be rectified within a very short period of time. I'd imagine that film these days is a speciality pursuit, so you'll have to go to those that specialise in dev and print from film.

Your average Joe Minilab Jockey wont give a fiddlers about the end quality of prints. Roll of film goes in one end, prints come out the other. Money goes in till, punter disappears. If you want your film developed and printed with any kind of care, you'll have to be seeking the services of a dedicated film lab. Y'know, the kind of people to whom digital is the work of satan and JPEG is something you hang your clothes up on a washing line with.

I find camera exchange on Georges street top notch. Although one time I sent my sister there and she had over 1000 photos to do and they made them all 7x5 when she wanted 6x4. They came to an arrangement in the end though.

Tell me about I recently got film processed and they really did hack the film when they were cutting it. i can unfortunately never use some of the shots to get developed for this reason
