Mac Crash Course

    Howdi chaps,
I ordered two iMacs for work last week, one for myself and the other for a windows migrator who has never really used OSX before. The primary use of the machine is for graphic design and development.

I'm going to spend an hour with him next week in order to familiarise him with the Mac and to some de-windowsing.

What would you go over in the crash course? So far I'm thinking
    • show him to install apps
    • introduce him to widgets (esp the screenshot ones)
    • show him to get the # symbol up on screen
    • how to right click
    • demonstrate finder and spotlight
    What else...

Depends on how bright he is - you may have to show him how to navigate the HDD, Dock, etc.

    Some ideas:

Wouldn't he already know how to right-click ?

the right click behavior is a lot different between the two systems, well maybe not a lot but it is different.

Don't forget to have a photo of El Jobso with a tealight near it!

Also show him our worship rituals, stand arms open facing Cupertino chanting "I chose the Bright Side (tm)" ;)
