    I turned them down as the money wasn't good enough.

    (Really. I was offered a job in one of their stores as a creative expert, but my current one isn't retail and pays more)

    It will make an amusing anecdote for sure.

    wouldn't mind working for apple, but not apple ireland, imagine it, you go into work to be greeted with "howerya boi!" and it wouldn't be just one person doing it either.

    It would be good to work in Apple California. Getting to use the latest Apple products before would be nice.

    i was going to apply for some apple jobs but decided not to purely on the basis that i would rather die then live in cork :p

    The apple factory is right in the middle of one of the crappiest parts of Cork, wouldn't blame you.

    I turned down a job with Apple around 6 months ago myself too.
    The location (Knocka) wasn't too bad but it was only a temporary role as a BA. Would have taken it in a flash if it was permanent.
