QUB BJJ will be hosting Matt Thornton, BJJ black belt and president of the Straight Blast Gym, for a seminar in Belfast on February 4th.

As well as being a fantastic teacher and great jiu-jitsu player, Matt has also taken concepts like the I-method and aliveness and put them into easily applied methods. He is a very smart guy who will be worth meeting just to hear what he has to say and what he thinks about martial arts.

Given Matt's ability and knowledge, this is not to be missed.

Sweeeeeet.! I am a huge fan of matt's after seeing his FJKD Series. I am gonna do my best to make it, even though i am working.

well at 6'9 most people look like a shorty beside him! also i'd just rolled for an hour straight while matt put me though my paces to get the black belt...hence the red swollen head haha
