SNG history advice needed

    Hi Guys,

I'd appreciate a little advice or some opinions here please.

I've been playing 6man $11 SNG's on PKR for the last 5 months.I know those of you that multi-table wouldn't play there and I understand the reasons why.It suits me though because I only play one table at a time.

As you may know, you can't use Pokertracker (or any other tools that I know of) on this site so its impossible for me to give you stats in the format that most of you use.I feel I'm beating this level and would like to try moving up to $22 SNG's.I've slowly grinded my initial $25 deposit up to the grand mark and that's the target I initially set for myself.

Another thing,is there anypoint in looking into rakeback if you only play SNG's?I have the option of starting a new account on the wife's credit card,if needs be.From what I gather, you need to make these rakeback deals when you start a new account.

    Any suggestions welcome.:o

Play more tables and get some decent rake back and sign up bonuses is what id suggest.

obv rakeback is a huge advantage with any form of poker. If you only play 1 table im sure you could manually input the tourny summarys into pokertracker.

A HH file is saved on my computer which I can access if I want to go back over hands.I don't quite understand what you mean when you say "manually input the tourny summarys",how much info. would I need to input? There's hundreds and hundreds (thousands?) of individual hands in these folders.

I made an utility long ago that takes the PKR log files and converts those to PT readable files so you *can* use PT. If you want a copy give me a pm. Also, you could use my web-based tracker system on PokerProject.eu to get all the statistics you like.

Rakeback is a large part of your profit especially playing sit n gos.If you want to continue playing on the same network open a new account on a different skin through a reputable rakeback site.Check the sigs of some of the posters, someone here should be able to sort you out.

Also,be careful if you're gonna use your wifes credit card if the account is in your name, this may lead to problems.

    Good luck!

Thanks Danny,I dont quite understand this part.Does PKR have another skin? I thought the only way round the problem was to open another account under the wife's name and with her credit card and then transfer money from my first account to the new one.Maybe I'm wrong here.

Most people probably think PKR is naff, but I like it.I don't multitable yet and the games at my level are softish,so I'd like to stay there for the time being.

    Regards,

    Ralph
