Haven't seen a thread yet on food that the brethren would like to try, so here goes.

    First up:

    Pizza in a cone

For eating pizza on the go. Could be eaten one-handed if you were on a train, walking down the street etc. The pizza would have to be nice though.

    Uimhir a dó:

I'd love to get my greasy mitts on something from here:

    http://www.dennysbeerbarrelpub.com/

Preferably one of their Olde 96'er burgers which consist of:
two whole tomatoes, a half-head of lettuce, 12 slices of American cheese, a full cup of peppers, two entire onions, plus, a river of mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard and a 6lb burger (about 96 ounces i think).

Edit: forgot to include the pic of their world record burger:
    DSCN0155.JPG

    Lastly:

I wouldn't mind getting stuck into one of these bad boys:

Way too much green shít on that burger. Burger buns, burgers and a load of ketchup. That's all you need.

I can't remember, I haven't been there in a while. It's on the mcr and I used to live just down the road from it last summer so it was all I ate for the whole summer. It was great. The chicken and sausages were great there as well. Definitely give it a shot the next time you're in town.

    hmmm, i will.

i've passed it several times but never been arsed going in, mollys sway over me is hard to break.

    anyway, back on topic.
as this is bgrh i hope i'm not the only one who's eaten these sandwiches
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fool's_Gold_Loaf (made my own scale model, but with blackberry jam instead of grape)
http://bestuff.com/stuff/the-elvis-sandwich (to die for, quite literally)

elvis sure knew how to eat.

Molly’s: The most unhealthy bag of chips going in the county of Sligo. No beating them to be honest!
Once heard a few shams from the hill talking about some uncle that passed away, one was joking that they’d filled in “Molly’s” for the cause of death. Classic!

I'm sorry Boys but that's just wrong on so many levels...

...Where's the fries? where's the ketchup? How can you have a burger that size with not a drop of ketchup on it? It's a sad day when BGRH don't notice that all that green stuff is used to replace fries and ketchup, if that green stuff wasn't there it could have been a chip'n burger buttie :(

Or just go with the original Italian pizza-on-the-go calzone ... pizza is folded over and the edges sealed, then baked. Good calzone is heaven on earth ... and as a general (though not unbreakable) rule anywhere over here which knows enough about pizza to do it will probably do it well.

I just wanna know when some company will realease the man version of all this low fat crap. i mean, i can't be the only out there who wants my chocolate, crisps, chops, burgers etc etc with 25% EXTRA fat. I'd be all over it. Why the hell would i want to buy something with 25% less taste (fat). Wimmins and their metabalisms have a lot to answer for.

Navin R. Johnson: Yeah, I got all this stuff from the old Cup 'o Pizza place before they tore it down.
    Marie: Good pizza.
[the two are eating pizza in a cup]
Navin R. Johnson: Oh, this is the best pizza in a cup ever. This guy is unbelievable. He ran the old Cup 'o Pizza guy out of business. People come from all over to eat this.

but if you can't get your hands on one, head to Cassoni's (633 South Circular Road Kilmainham). They do a 'WhirleyBurger'... That's a jumbo batterburger, in a bun with all the trimmings including Mayo and Ketchup.

I guarantee this'll bung you up for at least 48 hours

Surely it is about the taste.....technically the only food that is actually unhealthy is trans fat.

I bet I could convert half of the BGHRers to vegetable loving with a Maoz Falafel sandwich.

go back to the ladies lounge, and take your falafel with you

  • I will never darken BGRHs door again....if you head down to that kebab shop behind shop street.
Try some falafel and then swear on Elvis's grave that you didn't enjoy it.

Or a kebab and fries from Iskanders. hammanahammana.

I'd love to sleep on that burger and just take random bites out of it when I'm asleep. I'd wake up smelling like a real man.
