    Only seems to be in extra stores at the moment, I was gonna pick one up if they had it in town cause I want a remote anyway, and i'm sure I can get a few movies cheap...

    They will when prices get so low you cant find them and they also become unsaleable

    Can the 360 play xvid/divx like the modded Xbox1?

    Yes.

    @Motley Crue,
    Why would you want to sell them? I've never sold a DVD or VHS...

    Thats what I was thinking as well.

    People just think that because its not being made any more they have become usless.

    I plan to buy as many HDDVDs as possible while I can. It just means that I will have plenty of choice over the next couple of years.

    €50 is a bargain. I'm half thinking of getting one for my laptop

    My local electronics store has them for €40. Loads of them on the shelves still.

    €40 in Germany is worth €50 in Ireland

    I don't have a Xbox 360, can I plug this thing into my Vista PC? Any good/bad I need to know?

    Thanks in advance.

    Not quite related but Play.com have a 3 HD DVD for €31 offer which is not limited to older titles either. Of course it is 3 for £20 in the UK. :(

    It will plug straight into the Pc and work. Think you need to buy HD playback software by the people who make PowerDVD or similar. And you need to output to your screen using a VGA output. If your screen is HDCP enabled, then it will accept an output from DVI /HDMI

    Thanks Cassiel. I think the software might cost more than the player.

    I could be wrong about the VGA output tho'. Think that applies to the xbox when you don't have a HDMI connection. I think the PC needs HDCP enabled components alround, graphics card and monitor.
