    Well lads,

Anyone know where I can purchase this in Dublin and an approximate price? I heard it was brilliant and my tilt issues are adversely affecting my winrate so would like to purchase this?

Also, Zen and the Art of Poker? Where and approximate price?

    Cheers

Save the money but keep tilting?

Seriously I doubt you can get either of those books in Ireland. Zen is definitely on amazon, you probably have to order the Tommy one from him.

I have Zen on ebook. There's nothing revolutionary in it...just stuff you know already written down

Any interest in a poker book library? I could run it from Lukes no bother, loosely based on bring a book take a book, I have 5 or 6 books I know Ill never read so could start it handily enough with them.

I bought it in mid Jan and it cost ~€28. You can send him an email an he will sign it for you too if you want. Haven't had a chance to get stuck into it cos im so busy but enjoyable to read. Will reread properly once life calms down for me.

I got it off amazon and read it over a weekend. Enjoyable and not the slow grind to get through like other poker books.

1 of my mates said this about Tommy's book:

to be honest the book isnt great imo. feels like its been written by an old timer with a limit background in brick and mortar casinos so alot of it misses the dynamic of internet poker imo

yeah I heard it wasn't that great either. lol at that description

I remember when reading some of the articles that it really wouldnt appeal to internet guys at all. I like his writing but can only take so much of it.

I thought this was easily one of the best books to come out this year. I got mine on Amazon from the US, and it was worth the wait.

It isn't about 3-bet ranges, check-semi-bluffing or looking into your opponent's soul. It's about getting your own game grounded and getting an appreciation about how to integrate poker into your life.

The best part is his discussion of how to work on your C game. But I also liked his ideas about "6th street" play: that period that starts just after the pot gets pushed and the information war starts. 6th street can last a few seconds or go on for years.

These ideas have applicability to both live and online players, because they are about how you approach the game. The book is especially well suited to players with tilt issues.
