Ok, we got about 19 people signed up in the last thread and there's mutiny in the ranks regarding a venue. If you don't say something at this point, you can't complain later if you don't like the decision

Wherever they have tea and not too loud music.
I haven't voted yet. I would vote for wagamama, however I think that that place is busy and they wouldn't like us just sitting there.
If you know suitable place (indoors and with servants), send me a hint, please :)

I really don't mind where we go. Somewhere that we can all sit around, have a tea or snack, and enjoy catching up. I think I voted for Shelbourne Park, since it's a bit of fun.

it's just there's a carpark right next to wagamama...which is useful. Plus it's not miles away from Gunns and I need some filters.

What the name of sweet zombie jesus is Wagamama? I vote captain americas as I have rediscovered them lately and man they do good food. Or Synotts next to Stephens green could be good too, great, great pub, big too.

I'll have my Munster jersey on so there can be some pre match rivalry before the game. Didn't realise kick off is 6:30pm so the earlier the better it would be to grab some grub etc and check into the hotel.

Wagamama is a Japanese place also under Stephens Green shopping centre beside Synotts.

Going to park out in Ballsbridge earlier & head back into town for this.

Sounds like a plan, I've been told of a handy car park near the RDS so I'll park it there and head into town.

There's an idea ... stick my gear in your car, so then I don't need to bring the car with me. :D

I'll have to wait and see. I could always leave the gear in work, and then collect it from there and walk down.

I'm surprised you didn't realise before now. You must be working too hard.

    Should be a good game.

Hopefully the drinks after will be a Leinster celebration.

Hell no, a comprehensive Munster victory is on the cards ;) Is O'Driscoll back next week?

Suggestion for meet up time: 11:30-12:00 if that suits most peeps.

I don't, but directions to joburger plus info re parking options would be good. Some of us are coming from the wilds of the northside.

    http://www.joburger.ie/

137 Rathmines Rd, Rathmines. It's on the main road.

You can get parking on the side streets, or in the swan centre across the road.

If you don't know where rathmines is, it's just on the other side of the canal - cross the canal just down from wexford/camden street (we all know where that is ;)) although you have to do the funny sneaky thing to get around the bleeding horse because you can't go south straight down that road (follow the road round past the odeon and the luas stop round to the right then take the left after charlemont st - it's a wee sneaky road - and it takes you back to the main road so you can cross the canal into rathmines.

    Yes, I suck at directions...

You should have a check box under the "edit poll" options if you haven't already found it.

I clicked on the google map link and there is an error on it ! When word gets out the Google share price will plumet - all due to boards.ie meeting in jo-burger

The map shows the Swan Centre on the RIGHT hand side coming out of town (where that pub now is (whose name I cant remeber) or the olders ones out there where Renault used to have a garage)

The Swan Centre is on the left after the clock tower and opposite Leinster Sq (where I lived for 10 years until '99) and could see it from the window)

I only mention it in case anyone sees Swan Centre on the map and intends to use it as a guide and gets completely lost as a result.

All the 15's go out to Rathmines, starting at Aston Quay(?).

    They're pretty frequent too.
