RockBand €180 - HMV Cork

    Student discount has been applied to Rockband (entire package, software and all instruments) because stock is too high. Expect much of the same in other shops over the next few weeks. Zavvi dropped to €190 last week also.

    Not sure if its that surprising, but its deffo a bargain considering the RRP is €260.

    student discount ? does this mean you need a student id to buy it at this price or is that the price its available to everyone ?

    Smyths are charging €169 for the kit without software, but if you buy the software at the same time its €200 all in. This is for the 360.

    I was looking at it in Zavvi in Dundrum a few days ago and it was 190 for the hardware - the game itself was extra.

    Are you sure you read the contents of the 'deal' correctly?

    Zavvi in Arklow also had the full set (instruments & game) for €180 at the weekend.

    Pretty sure I read their (hand-drawn) poster correctly.

    The kit and software (Xbox 360 version) totals at €195.98 from Play.com. See here for the hardware, and here for the software.

    Note that I don't know if Play will actually ship this here or not. Can anyone comment on this please?

    Cheaper than other shops. Comes with drums/mic/guitar.

    Play.com wont ship here, zavvi.co.uk will, I got the whole lot for €180, quick enough delivery too. I'm also pretty sure I saw it in dundrum Zavvi (formerly known as Virgin) for €190 for the lot.
