Anyone watching this? What a comeback. I was initially rooting for Gasquet as Andy Murray has all the charisma of a wet sponge, but after the turnaround in the 3rd set, I wanted to see him go all the way.

    A well deserved win IMO.

Woohoo what a comeback by Murray, big Murray fan, (seem to be alone on that one) but the guy's got an edge, uncommon in Tennis and I like it.

i *want* to like murray but...

gasquet has a spectacular back-hand. murray was a bit lucky that he lost the plot.

but yep, he did well to win it.

    so did ancic too!

I'm glad Murray won. Pure grit and good attitude to fight back. Many players would have thrown in the towel such as what Gasquet nearly did everytime the umpire refused to suspend play for poor light.

Murray v Nadal now. They've played three times before (all on Clay or hard, can't remember which) and Nadal has won each time. Will it change now it's on grass, I'm not so sure. The only way Murray would go through is if Nadal gets injured.

I can't stand Murray! He's so childish on the court. He loses one point and is screamin his head off and cursing and then when he wins a point he's almost jumping into the crowd and tearing his clothes off in euphoria.

I'm pretty sure that the Gasquet match took it all out of him and after a match like that, the British public are going to be expecting more magic, can't see it happening. I'm gonna enjoy watching Nadal thrash him!

    Prediction: Straight sets for Nadal.

Once the crowd got into it, it was basically like gasquet had to play against 2 players. But fair play to Murray, he still had to win it, and he did in style, fair play to him.
I can see the Nadal beating him in 4 sets. Even though Nadal will have the entire crowd against him, I rekon if anybody can kepp their mind on the job in hand its him.

I was rooting for him, great comeback, but as mentioned above, the constant fist punching and crowd pleasing was more offensive than anything else. I felt sorry for Gasquet at the end and hoped he might win.

Kissing his bicep, he could have at least poked fun at himself in the post-match, instead of saying "yeah, i just wanted to show how hard I had worked on my fitness, I felt I was the fitter of the two". Lost a lot of respect after that and hope Nadal's superior fitness runs him ragged.

Take nothin away from the actual tennis though, some cracking rallies!

Nadal is the much better player and I really hope he does a number on Murray. It used to always happen with Henman that'd he win a thriller and the crowd would be going wild, expectations at an all time high and then... knocked out in straight sets.

Well Murray didn't have much of a chance today.
Nadal was superb. Can't wait until the inevitable Nadal-Federer Final.
